BIO
On, December 14, 1975 in the mountains of North Carolina, a beautiful baby girl was born by the name of Rachel Elizabeth Bergman. Proudly, adopted at the early age of 6 weeks, Rachel was soon to be the oldest of six children. Overwhelmed with joy, Rachel's parent's couldn't see at the time, they had also welcomed a star in the making. Growing up, people always seemed to take immediate notice to the multi-racial beauty (African-American,Caucasian, and Cherokee Indian). At an early age, Rachel became easily aquainted with being "The New Girl" and stood out virturally everywhere she went due to her outgoing nature, bubbly personality, natural talent and beauty. Her ability to adapt to her surroundings can be attributed to the make up of both her multi-racial, Jewish family, as well as having attended a variety of schools growing up. Even when Rachel was a child, she always stood out in a crowd, but was far from your typical "girly- girl". She is and always has been, a self proclaimed "tom-boy". As she grew older, she wanted people to see her as more than a "pretty face" and in doing so, became involved in a variety of sports including soccer, field hockey, competing on the national hunter/jumper circuit with her horses, as well as figure skating competitivly, until the age of 15. Her love of animals and people is something, Rachel was born with, so it was not a surprise that showing horses, along with her 2 younger sisters became her passion. It allowed her to spend time with family, travel as well as excel in something she truly loved. Rachel, spent her four years of high school at Durham Academy, graduating in 1994. After High School, Rachel set her sights on College and was accepted into Appalachian State University through a Field Hockey scholarship where it is no surprise that she was named co-captain of the Varsity team. After attending ASU, she decided that she needed a change and transferred to NC Central where she was able to be closer to home and spend time with her family. Over the years, Rachel has been fortunate enough to spend time on both coasts, living in both Florida and California. No matter where she was, Rachel always found time to travel back to NC, where she would lend a hand, along with her other siblings, in the family business of Real Estate/Property Management. Rachel now resides, permenantly, in NC, where she is able to enjoy spending time with her beloved family as well as continue to show her horses.
It was not until December of 2005 that Rachel found her way into the world of entertainment. It is her close friend and photographer, Lisa Brewer, a former model herself, of www.lisabrewerphoto.com, that we have to thank for that! Lisa, suggested that Rachel do a fun photoshoot for her upcoming birthday. It was then and there that Rachel learned how to portray her inward beauty through the eye of the lens. Over the years, her captivating images have since, graced, not only a multitude of magazines, music videos and various other print projects, but also the wonderful world of the internet. Rachel has also traveled all over the country, hosting a variety events as well as being a special guest on a number of well known radio and television shows. So, if you think you have seen or met her in person, you just might be right. Although, Rachel prefers the comforts of home, to being "on the scene", she continues to be thankful for the work that she gets in the industry. She is both proud and thankful of being able to represent the beauty of women in their 30's. Many of you in the virtual world may recognize this exotic beauty by the name of Rachel Whitted (formerly, www.rachelwhitted.com), however, since losing her father to cancer in September 2008, Rachel has chosen to relaunch both her site and her image by using the last name, Bergman, given so graciously to her by her late father. Rachel is looking forward to bringing you more of the classy, sexiness that only she can. So please enjoy the site and look forward to more to come from the lovely Rachel Bergman!
